Patterns of Tension: Cultivating Creativity in Networks was a one-day convening of researchers, product designers, network experts, and leaders from Microsoft and our partners. We explored our research into the power of networked creativity. The event consisted of keynote speakers, breakout sessions, workshops, and interactive installations.
Our speakers represented a wide range of fields and network sizes - from Burning Man and Citizen University to Warner Music and Topcoder - to better paint the landscapes in which networks flourish. Small group discussions and workshops allowed guests to process what they had learned and build upon it to make new discoveries with us.
Collaboration
Throughout the day, we ran breakout sessions centered on topics of networks and complex collaboration. Workshop sessions ranged from interactive brainstorming to passive explorative puzzles.
